This blog site followed my treatment for Papillary Thyroid Cancer. I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer in August of 2008. I had a complete thyroidectomy and neck dissection in September of 2008. In October of 2008, I had the follow-up RAI treatment. I received an “excellent” report on my body scan, which indicates the treatments were successful. In 2009, I have been doing great. I have been closely monitored by my surgeon and endocrinologist. My first sonogram following treatment is in late March of 2009.
